Ripley County Probate Book 15, Pages 556-559 18th Day, Hon Thos C. Batchelor, Judge, Sept Term Sept 24, 1892 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday morning 8 1/2 0'clock Sept 24, 1892 the Ripley Circuit Court met pursuant to adjournment present the same Judge and officers as on yesterday. Estate of Joshua Wilson Scott Wilson, Administrator Comes now said Administrator and shows the Court that on the 11th day of Jany 1892 he filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court his account in final settlement of his trust and that the proper endorsement was made thereon fixing the time of examination and consideration of said final account on the 5th day of Feby 1892. And it appearing that due notice has been given as the law requires and final account is now submitted to the court and no one objecting to its approval after due examination and consideration given thereto, the court finds that the same ought to be approved and endorses the approval thereof thereon. It is therefore considered by the court that said final account be in all things approved and said Estate is declared settled and said Administrator fully and finally discharged from all further liability on account of his said trust. Scott Wilson, Administrator Comes now Scott Wilson as the Administrator of the estate of Joshua Wilson deceased and submits his final settlement account of his said trust as follows to-wit: Letters of Administration were issued to the Administrator on the 14th day of March 1890 by this court. The administrator charges himself with amounts received from various sources as follows. On sale of personal property $186.96 " private sale of crop 51.70 " sale 2/3 int. in 40 acres land 205.00 " Murdock acct as per Judgment 113.20 " Note of 0'Conner 52.00 " " " Clarence Wilson 12.24 Property taken by widow 124.00 Collected from heirs to pay costs 52.00 ======= Making total charges of $797.10 The Administrator claims credit for the following amounts by him paid out to-wit: Voucher No. 1 Ed Wood 45.41 " 2 Nancy Heaton 4.00 " 3 Scott Wilson 70.00 " 4 J. Administrator would show to the court that there are no claims pending against said estate all claims having been paid and fully satisfied and that the cost and expenses of the Administration have been fully paid and that the widow has received her five hundred dollars. He would further show to the court that Eighty acres of land in Otter Creek Township came to the heirs of the decedent from his estate and that said land was portioned among said heirs by an order of this court, pending this administration as follows to-wit: The west half of the south west qr of sec 29 Town 8 Range 10 containing 80 acres and partitioned as follows to Jane Willson widow lot No. 7 Henry Willson Lot No. 5 to Scott Willson Lot No. 8 to Angeline Sutton Lot No. 3 to Edith Murdock Lot No. 1 to Nancy Heaton Lot No. 9 to Fidelia Hill Lot No. 2 to Clarence Willson Lot No. 6 To Ella Tinker Lot No. 4 See partition Record No. 4 Page 526. Said Administration further says there is nothing further to be done in said Administration, wherefore he prays that this report be offered and that he be discharged from any further duty or liability in said matter. Wood, Clerk And said Administrator files with said report in final settlement of said estate a statement setting forth a description of the lands of which said Joshua Wilson died seized together with the names of his heirs to whom said land will pass by the law of descent which statement is as follows to-wit: The west half of the south west quarter of sec 29 Town 8 Range 10 containing 80 acres and partitioned as follows to Jane Wilson widow lot No. 7 Heny [sic] Wilson Lot No. 5 to Scott Wilson Lot No. 8 to Angeline Sutton Lot No. 3 to Edith Murdock Lot No. I to Nancy Heaton Lot No. 9 to Fedelia Hill Lot No. 2 to Clarence Wilson Lot No. 6 to Ella Tinker Lot No. 4 see partition record No. 4 Page 526 and that said lands by the law of decent [sic] passes to the heirs of said decedent to-wit: Jane Wilson widow 4/12 and Henry Wilson, Scot Wilson, Angeline Sutton, Edith Murdock, Nancy Heaton, Fedelia Hill, Clarence Wilson and Ella Tinker children each are entitled to 1/12. Be it remembered that on this 17th day of March 1890 that Scott Wilson filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Ripley County in the State of Indiana his Application for letters of Administration of the Estate of Joshua Wilson as follows to wit (here insert) which the Clerk grants upon said applicant filing his bond in the penalty of Twelve Hundred dollars with good and sufficient surety thereon, said Applicant now files his bond in the penalty aforesaid with John Shinolt and Henry D.
